apm 2.5 bixler 2

trying to get my apm to work on my bixler 2. i have the plane firmware loaded sorted out flight modes. when it comes to connecting the apm to the plane im getting no power to the rx. all im getting is a green led on the board saying it alive.

where am i going wrong?

im guessing i need the power module

No, the RX should power from the APM board

the only way i managed to get power to the rx is when i plugged the esc into the rx then the board lit up as it should

Do you have the jumper on or off on the board?

No jumper. I didn';t get one with it

That may be why the RX isn';t being powered. With a jumper in place both the input and output sides of the board are powered, without the sides need separate power.

Probably best on a plank with servos being driven, that';s how I have mine set up.

Yes. You can also run a servo cable with just red and black connected from an unused input to an unused output if ur lazy like me

I';ve also been known to use a dirty blob of solder too

Yes JP1 next to the output pins.

there is a few apm boards being sold without the JP1 pins or jumper designed to use the power module i guess
