Got this frame second hand from a forum member. I absolutely love it. I also have the HV flip 360, which is very similar but Im preferring the QAV400.
Frames: Blackout Mini H V2, TBS Disco, TBS Caipirinha,Tarot Ironman 650, Q450, Tricopter D.W design.
FC's: Naze 32 GPS, Naza M Lite GPS, APM2.5 GPS, KK2.1, KK
FPV: Skyzone FPV Goggles, GoPro Hero 3+ Black, Sony Super HAD 600 TVL

I remember that frame...  looking really good.

where did you get the re-usable zip ties from?

That looks very nice. I bet it';s not slow on 1400kv motors. Got a link for where you bought those handy?

I';d suggest getting some nicer props for it. I bet it would fly much better even with rctimer grade cheap carbon fibre props than those coloured plastic ones you are using now.

How do you find it';s better than the flip 360? I quite like the look of those for an 8 inch prop based FPV quad - not too big.
One circlip short of a quadcopter.
1 lobe short of an antenna.

The HQ 8x4.5 props from makeitbuildit are the dogs for those motors, I had them on my Tcopter with those motors - it went like a rocket (too bl@@dy fazt for me) ::)

I got 3 of the motors off Darrel for £25 and the frame off Benno for £35.  Bought an additional Sunnysky from Banggood for £10. Took the 30amp HK Blue Esc';s off my Tarot Ironman, added a Naze 32 which I already had and a FrSky receiver which I already had.

I love the HV Flip 360 but its something about the QAV that feels good on the sticks.  I like the inertia, it just goes where you want it to go. It may be a combination of the frame motors and FC but this thing flies like its on a wire.
