Gimbal Servos for 450 size

I found that Hitec HS65b servos were not quite man enough to drive the roll movement on my gimbal with GoPro.

So bought a SAVOX SH 0256 servo which pumps out x4 more torque than the Hitec 65';s.  Wow what a difference!  Full tilt now and better levelling in flight.  Just thought I';d share and would recommend these servos for this size of gimbal.

Cheers

hi gav, how how does your gimbal handle taking still pics?

Gav

Hey Neil.  I have only done videos lol.  I will set it to time lapse on the go pro and try it out soon.  ps I';ve beefed up the roll servo with a S9650

neil-liverpool

cheers gav, let me know how if performs?.
ps do you have a link with the spec of the gimbal?

Gav

It is called an eagle eye gimbal.  Sorry lost the link where I bought it.

Going to fiddle around with pinion and belt drive between servi and gimbal, to see if I can get rid of the servo jitter or at least reduce it.

Ps photos came out fine on gopro the other day. Taking stills from video is just as good too.
