Hi,

I have the Icharger 306B. When I try and charge high capacity 6S LiPos (8000mAH) at around 8 amps, after a while I get the error "Connection Break Down". Sometimes if I charge at 6amps it';s ok, sometimes not. Has anyone else had this problem? Any idea what';s wrong, or how to fix it?

Thanks

Jumpy07

Are you using moulded banana plugs on the connection to the charger ?

Reason I ask it.. they tend to heat up and the connection breaks down..  some of the chinese ones a crappy quality...... I cut them off and fit decent ones..

I';ve had to cut perfectly good (looks wise) Deans plugs off some packs for some reason, my charger seems mega fussy.  Also, I had a couple of packs that would only charge with a 6" extension lead attached, must be an impedance thing I should think.

Hardware? sure, I got hardware!

Thanks for your suggestions but still no joy. It doesn';t seem to like a current greater than 5amps, it should handle up to 30 - starting to think it';s broken.

Just a small question what power supply are you useing to run the charger ?
Carbon Tricopter with KK2 mini because you have to own a Tri and Falcon Evo FPV (rebuild again) with fatshark 600mw vtx & pz2040 cam. New addition (hidden from the missus!) 250 quad.
