Does anyone have any experience using a cc3d or naze in a fixed wing or flying wing? I';m interested in gyro stabilisation more than anything else. I know spektrum make a great 3 axis gyro built into a receiver but it';s expensive and I';m on frksy rc stuff.

I know I should learn to fly manually but this is going to be more a project just for the fun of it and to.see.whats possible with these cheap fcs we';ve all got lying around.

OrangeRC do some clones that also have gyro stabilisation built in.

The advantage of going the cleanflight route would be that once used to the system you could take advantage of the minimOSD and all the other peripherals if you wanted to.

One circlip short of a quadcopter.
1 lobe short of an antenna.

I';ve had first hand experience with orange stuff in ground vehicles and i wouldn';t trust it with a plane. Not on your nelly!

Cleanflight docs and Google searches return very little info regarding fixed wing so I';m more drawn to openpilot. It';s more 3d flight stabilisation I';m thinking of. The hardware is all there on a naze cc3d I';m just wondering if the firmware is developed well for it.
