Now having lots of 5000mah 4S packs which i keep in pairs on the Y6 and charge in the same pairs my trusty 50w Turnigy Accucell 6 is just to slow.

I';m looking to upgrade to something with 200w 10A capability and wondered if anyone could make a recommendation.

Cheers

I have a large 12v power supply that I connect up to 6 x Imax B6 Chargers to..  I had same issues as you.. with this I can charge 4 x 6S lipos or more at 5amps + each........  (1c on each of four 5000mah).. and also charge my other smaller 3s lipos at same time.

Its a cheap and cheerful setup.. but advantage is... will also run off car battery out at flight site.. or generator..

One of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/32-amp-400w-12v-power-supply-/171191624926?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item27dbd0e4de

and four of these..

I know a lot of the imax';s are clones.. tbh the clones I have are better the original one I have..

Pretty much a clone of the Cellpro PL8, if you can stretch to it, this will do everything you want:

Get a parallel boards and you can charge 6 batteries at a time. You';ll need a good PSU as well though as when you start charging at high current, you want to run the charger off 24VDC. I can recommend someone who can build you a 24V 1150W PSU for £64 delivered:

get the above from coolice very nice and 64 quid to your door go onto rcheliaddicts to find lots of happy costumers

iCharger 206b and a modified OCZ 500w PC PSU.

Gutted at that Coolice PSU though, looks really nice. I threw a load of Sun server PSU';s out a couple of years ago, never knew at the time how easy it was to mod them  :cry :cry :cry

Thanks for all the input.

I went for an I Charger 106b+ 250w which turned up yesterday.

I did consider one large charger but I decided running a couple of smaller units was a a more flexible solution and if a charger dies I have a back up in the field.

Just need some flying weather to drain a few Lipo';s and try it out.
