Turnigy 9x help?

Hello again everyone, I am currently setting up my new S550 drone, I am using Turnigy 9x tx/rx which I am a bit stuck with is there any one on here experienced with these handsets?

I am having trouble setting fail safe so when the transmitter is turned off it goes to fail safe is what I am Wanting.. cant seem to grasp it I've watched countless youtube videos, I am using dji naza m lite.

I am also a bit confused why throttle & aileron seem to be tied in together on dji naza?

can't help with the failsafe as im new to drones

but i've been using the same tx for a while now
you will need to go into the menu of the tx and change to acro mode, this will stop the channels mixing

what module and receiver please

It has 9x native 2.4ghz module just standard & ia8 standard receiver

This is my problem, elevator in the middle when stick not touched, only 366 when stick is right back but then right forward it maxes out to 1000 as it should both ways? I have adjusted endpoints no difference?

I am sure there is a stick calibration type thing in the assistant that you can run to set endpoints.

But remember to backup the configuration in the assistant so you can go back if necessary.

On Your tunigy 9x make sure you set up a new model and calibrate the tx first

Then open naza assistant calibrate sticks

had a 9x that needed calibrating first same issue until i did the tx

Hi, thanks for the messages & help I have had it apart & the right side potentiometer is faulty, hoppy king is replacing the unit.

Glad you sorted it out. I had a pot fail on a FlySky i6 and it was very intermittent and sometimes took a few seconds to centre after releasing the sticks!
On the i6 there is a screen that shows the outputs of stick movements so it was easy to check. Does the 9x have a similar screen to see outputs?

yeah it does, I don't suppose you know how to set failsafe on 9x so when its powered off the dji naza goes into coming home mode

I only have the i6 with my naza. If I remember correctly there is a setting in the tx on the rx menu that does the failsafe for the rx.
Isn't there any youtube vids that deal with the x9 and failsafe?
