Using two 2.4g radios for a two man operation

Guys,

This my first post so thanks in advance for helping me through. I am based in Perth Australia and have been building and flying multi rotors for a couple of years now.

So far I have been flying and taking photos as a single operator.  I am now planning to get a camera operator working with me on a second radio. My primary radio is Graupner MC 32. I was wondering if there is a risk of interference if I use my spare DX7 as the camera control.

Both are 2.4 and Graupner has channel hopping capabilities. I have my fpv on 5.8GHz.

Also any experience with using DJI lightbridge as a camera control transmitter along with a device like my Graupner as the primary rotor control?

Your advice and experience shared is much appreciated. Cheers.

I use two 2.4ghz rx';s on my Dual Operator S900.. no issues.. one has telemetry and two way comms... the other is just rx for the gimbal..

I have been at loads of FPV meets.. with loads of concurrent people flying on 2.4ghz no issues..

Lightbridge is used for video and control.. on 2.4ghz..  DJI don';t recommend using a separate 2.4ghz control due to the way LB uses the channels.. and suspect it also has high power output.  ..  people using Lightbridge who want separate control for gimbal use Phantom Style Tx/RX on 5.8ghz

I am also using a buddy box to swap between pilot and camera operator for gimbal control (Search buddy box on Hobbyking)

Thanks. That is great. Saves me from getting a new radio. LB is a future upgrade for me and if I find it essential. For now I can live with my 5.8GHZ immersion rc tx.
