Hmm, prop savers :o    Somewhere in my Leylandi is an 8x4.5 Gemfan, green, that decided to depart my 450 Firefly when I were learning this fangled hobby ::)  It was about 10ft high, prop departed, quad did the predictable thing, I bolted a new rotor arm on, and chucked the prop savers into my box ';o bits where they';ve never seen the light of day since.  I';ve also got a bag of 50 O';rings somewhere in there. Well, 48 actually

::) still crashing this quad enough for it to be worth it - early days - but it won';t be long before I give them a miss. Annoyingly I think that means flipping my motor shafts (or just replacing them with motors designed for use with multirotors) to make all the mounting work...

Replacing axis lock with rate mode for yaw control has been a major improvement for my quad. Makes it much more pleasant to control - your control inputs aren';t constantly changing where they';re relative to...

I';m running the current CC3D firmware from git HEAD as of last night, which is ~14.10 RC4; it';s pretty slick. The calibration and setup wizard got a lot of love in the latest GCS builds. I';m quite impressed by the OpenPilot development community - almost making me rethink my goal of moving to Pixhawk once I';ve learned to fly/crash and gotten some confidence in my airframe (and the bugs worked out of that...).
