Rappy Freak

Hi all
I am having a few problems with a Naza FC.  The led is flashing red which means low voltage/other problems!  I have connected to the computer and am getting the error code RX-ERR.  Must be an Rx issue but was wondering if anyone had any ideas.  I am going to have a look on DJI';s site as well but thought I would ask here too  :help:

check all your Rx to naza connections that';s all i can think of then hookup to assistant and see WATS going on
If you find yourself in danger of being taken seriously, then try to do something which undermines or sabotages that perception in some way.

Rappy Freak

Checked everything I can think of with no look.  Will not let recalibrate the Tx just saying error cfg 8 now.  I have even done a rebind of the Tx and Rx with no luck.  Only thing I can think of is it happened after a firmware update!

Rappy,

Which connection have you selected for the NAZA / Radio System? Is it D Bus by chance?

Which Upgrade did you do to the Unit?

Have you carried out the calibration of the Radio after checking the Traditional / D Bus / PPM setting in the receiver type?

Is Battery monitoring on or off?

Regards

Martin

Thanks guys.  It is set to Traditional.  I am using anAR7000 Spektrum Rx and Tx. The upgrade is the 2.02 version.  Tried the recalibration but its as if there no Tx connected  :cry

I am sure I am missing something somewhere but not seeing where.

any chance you unplugged your Rx connections inbetween the upgrade? Any chance you have the plugs upside down?

Do you get the Rx lighting up to show it is bound?  Maybe stick a servo into a spare Rx channel, just to triple check?

Looks like someone else had this problem on a rival forum:

http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?2561-Clearing-Naza-error-codes&highlight=assistant+errors

I had stuff like this happen when i was setting my one up, and I found the best thing to do is the usual windows repair sequence of unplug it, relaunch the program, power on off etc. I had it once or twice and cleared it by doing that, and ive not seen it again....

You did not say if you had battery monitoring switched on or off Rappy? please switch it off and use a fully charged liPo and let us know what is happening with the error codes :)
