CC3D and failure of receiver (failsafe setting?)

Just wondering whether anyone knows what happens if say the receiver stopped sending signals to the FC? To be clear, the receiver is still communicating with the receiver so the receiver';s failsafe will not kick-in. Say I was using CPPM and the lead between the receiver and FC  fell out. As there';s no failsafe setting within the FC what would happen? I suppose I could try it on the bench with no props on and probably will if no one answers.

The most definitive way to find out is to try, with no props on as you say. Don';t be THAT guy
