Yay , just got myself a Droidworx hex (now with pics and video)

The heavens must be smiling down on me today, it started out like any other day until a friend called me up and asked if i wanted to buy his Hex. I had no idea which model he had but  to cut a long story short, it turns out that he was offering  Driodworx Hex in full working condition but he wants to keep his radio,  it is upgraded with Graupner props, 360 degree Gopro gimbal , Wookong controller with GPS  and i get it with a spares bag containing 1 battery , 2 spare graupner props and 2 spare ESCs and he will throw in 2 extra DJI arms for my F450 that he had lying around ! 

Least i forget he also said that there is an OSD and 5.8Ghz download link already on it with a dedicated battery.

He lives 3 hrs away and i will have to collect it but i really do not care  as its well worth the trip.

I am so chuffed, all i need to do now is to wait for this damn snow to melt so that the roads are drivable again.

Very nice and those look like Axi motors to some top notch gear there

Thanks guys, Axi motors? I never heard of them can they tolerate 6s lipos. He says he uses 4S.

Not sure about the 6s lipo';s but Axi motors are top notch and start around 50 quid a time

Well guys, the big day has come. I am free from work today so i will be driving a total of 500km to pick it up,   whoohoo !
I just have to get back  in time to take my 9 year old for Piano lessons :-(

Phew, what a tiring day, i just got back in the nick of time to take the lad to his piano lessons and since i came back i have been configuring the TX and Wookong assistant setup with failsafe settings and such. I think i am done now, i could not resist so i had a brief fly in the dark outside in the garden only 1.5 meters off the ground . It seems to be fine, apart from the gains i felt i set too high so i have now reduced em. Pictures in daylight tomorrow and a little video too id f the weather permits.

I am well pleased :-)

Thank you for the compliments guys on another note I was thinking about moving the GPS to the top of the roll cage does anybody have any experience with this?
