Hi dudes - Just sharing my Saturday ';dayout'; FPV ing at an organised meet up in Oxford.

It was the most quad / fpv flying I have ever done in one sitting - thoroughly enjoyed it  BUT my quad was hit by a flying wing midair BOOHOO.
Amazingly the crash damage is not that bad.

One boom
2 graupner props
one small gimbal plate
Bunch of plastic screws and Hex spacers
small carbon rod supporting the Naza GPS receiver.

Sadly my GoPro mp4 file got corrup and is un viewable - believe me I have tried repairing it with many different software tools but no joy.  I am still open to suggestions on how to open the file.  But I think it is toast. HOWEVER I do have the footage from the flying wing that clobbered my quad.   It is in the video below.  Enjoy

Looked like a great time was had by all - well most  :whistling:

A well compiled video of the day, off to a flying start with a smashing ending  ~~

Hope you get the repairs done pronto and they aren';t too much hasssle.

Have you tried converting the file with either Free FLV to AVI converter  http://www.flvtoavi.com/ or free iPod converter http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-Video-to-iPod-Converter.htm

It may work...

Looks like a good day out and some nice ground station setups! Would have liked to have come along to see what people are using!

ice.

Yippee all fixed up again.

Only replaced one arm and one prop. Amazing limited damage from such a fall. Also whittled up a replacement gimbal plate from a G10 fibreboard offcut Which took a few minutes.  Then 3 1/2 hrs of rebuild and tinkering.  Ahhhh I feel better now my quad is air worthy again :)
