Hi guys , i am not a fan of the helicopter-like landing gear on my Quad and i prefer the insect-like type legs . The ones i have now are home made but i was wondering in anyone knows a link to where i can order some professionally made nice ones in the EU. Something like these

If you find yourself in danger of being taken seriously, then try to do something which undermines or sabotages that perception in some way.

Nytram

Can';t see a issue with the ones you have made..

benchmark

Yeah, i will need something with a bit more clearance.

Gaza07

Did you make the ones in the top picture ? if so I agree they look great  ~~

Someone made them for me in his shop but only the front 2 are actually carbon, the rear pair are just cut plywood painted lack

Gaza07

There';s nothing wrong with ply wood ive build copters using ply wood and they have flown really well,
Im wondering how hard it would be to make a retractable pair like the dji ones  ~~

Smeagol

I';m currently looking at legs for my build, just trying to come up with a means to attach them to my 10mm sq aluminium arms.

The foldable option looks useful, will give it some thought.

I plan to make mine from acrylic and machine them with cutouts for weight reduction.

If you need some more made and are happy with acrylic, send me some close up pics, a few guide measurements and a traced outline scanned image.
