Just to share what a diferent life we have. My destination from the 17th of December..Hope not to stay there during Xmas. It is in Cuba now...

Wow you have a great job  that heli pad looks just the right place for a bit of quad flying, if you do be sure to get a video it will be a bit special

Yes it is a great job. Unfortunately due to HSE regulations I can';t take a a quad or whatever that can be a potentially source of ignition to a gas environment as it is usual in offshore  drilling rigs. Even a supposed "inoffensive" torch can ignite a fire if it is not intrinsically safe...the regulations are very tight. What I think to do is to launch the quad from a boat nearby the rig and keep a safe distance from it. Let';s see...
