change 7cap from 35megs to 2.4

Hi fellas,
            Can someone please tell me if I can change my Futaba 7cap to 2.4 as it has not got a plug in module? and will seven channels be enough to work my Naza with the g.p.s?????

it';s frysky module , you can get assan and corona too, for spectrum it.s doable but need a bit of hacking lol

Thanks Secretman, But my Mcap don';t have a module so how do I fit it ? do I have to wire it directly to the main board?
