Where is Channel 5?

I am doing a Crius AIOp V2 build using MegaPirateNG.

I';ve found the guides on this site invaluable and would have given up without their help.

One thing I cannot figure out is what pin on the Crius board supports Channel 5? I see that A11 is Yaw and that A12 is normally Channel 6.

I';ve played around with switch settings on my DX8 but whenever I do a Radio Calibrate in Mission Planner I can';t get Radio 5. Radio 6 works ok.

Hi mate I';m not sure on spekky TX as I fly Futaba but it sounds like you will have to assign one of your switches to channel 5.
This might help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1P6ZvlvCjo

Channel 5 on a dx6i is the gear switch so is not proportional so it can only be used to change flight modes or operate a retractable u/c or anything else of that nature. With a dx7 (old type) you can use it in conjunction with the 3 position flaps switch to give you 6 flight modes. DX8 or newer you can assign switches so you can do what you like (if you know how!).

On the DX7s you can assign a toggle switch, 3 way flap switch or the analogue pot.

You can also mix 2 switches (3 way flap & a toggle) to get 6 positions
Not much kit, but what I have I like

I found the same nothing shows for Ch5 I ended up not using in on the receiver, just connected a servo plug to 6,7 & 8 and plugged that into aux1,2&3 I have all the flight modes I need now with a few mixes in the radio plus ch8 as an option if I need it.

In aero mode on a lot of transmitters channel 5 will have been assigned to flaps. The default rates are very low so you need to set the travel volumes to 100%
