Duvet - The quickest way to say Duck Down !

I';ve flown with both and i can definitely say YES before seeing the video.

Having just seen the video - it';s a really good demonstration of the difference it makes. Once the ESCs are running at the faster update rate with less lag you get less feedback oscillations and the arm (or quad) holds position better with less jittering.

blimey, that is impressive...I never really gave it too much thought but having seen that I';m going to seriously look into it.

The music is too scary for me - couldn';t watch the whole video  :blink

Certainly made a heck of a difference, glad that the advice was given to me before I ordered

I';ve seen that video before but started flashing esc';s before that and could feel the difference my self when flying, flashing esc';s is a must  ~~

Will have to have a look at my various esc';s, not sure what';s programmable and what';s not.

Got 10am Black Mantis on the hexa and I think hobbywing 30';s on the quad.

You want to look for ATMEL chips on the ESCs - these are the easiest to program. The RCgroups megathread is worth a read;

Hopefully you';ll have some nice, easy to solder to, pads. If not you might have to connect directly with the chip itself, which can be tricky unless you have a special tool;

I';ve got one of those on order from hobbyking international - I will report back when it arrives as i have a bunch of tricky ESCs to flash myself.
