Hi Everyone, i went and got myself the AeroXcraft go pro camera gimble which is a nice little kit, easy to put together and sits nicely on my F550. I have one issue which i know other people have ad on forums around the world is servo jitter. I have the Hitec HS5065MG on currently and no matter how much i tweak the gains i cannot get the tilt and roll to be smooth. Im awaiting the delivery of some Savox replacements to see if a different servo helps.
Has anyone else had similar issues?

Cheers

I think I read some where that the savox servos work very well for gimbles, they really do need to be good quality servos as they expected to do a lot of work at high speed and accurately, you got ant pictures you could share with us  ~~

Yeah, I';ve done allot of searching on this and it seems some people have had this gimble responsive with the Futaba & Hi-tec servos and AeroXCraft recommend these too.

Im currently uploading a small clip here,
F550 AeroXCraft Gimble Jitter

Iain was flying and thew the 550 around quite a bit which hi-lights the jitter. Hopefully the Savrox will turn up tomro and ill keep you updated!

Apologies for the slow update on this, i installed the Savox servos last week and still spent an age messing around to try and get this smooth. The Savox are better than the Hi-tec i had in previous but still with the tiny, and I';m talking micro amount of slop in the servo it still produces jitters/shudder etc.

Damping the roll of the Gimble using elastic bands helps improve things to a point. Overall the Gimble is good for the money but i was expecting more.
