Tbh I've been really busy, not had much time to fly anything and with conditions being crap, hopefully in the new year I'll have some new projects on the go, mostly to do with HAM radio, will certainly fly again soon. FTR I hate FB too   :D Merry Christmas

Just picked up a GOPRO Hero (Not HD) on ebay for only £72  :wack0

Been watching them for weeks and bid on a few but they mostly go for well over £100.... this one has no memory card, instructions or USB lead - but I bet I can pick those up pretty cheaply....

Well chuffed .....  ::)   Glad I got the big undercarriage for the Hex now  ~~

Good one..

Noticed they are coming down in price now the 3 is out now

It';s just arrived and I can';t believe how small and light it is  :blink :blink

Don';t know what I was expecting - but it certainly wasn';t this   ;)

I suppose I had in my head my Olympus digital camera, sort of thing, and it';s easily half the size and a quarter the weight   :blink

Out of the waterproof case - which I don';t think I';ll need [and the lens cover is scratched anyway] - it appears to me like a dinky little unit like a child';s toy

By the way, I know you all know this already - but I';m just typing what I';m thinking in the interests of ';forumness';

My thoughts were exactly the same when I bought mine   ~~

Thinking about it - and looking it over again - I can';t see what exactly we are paying these exorbitant prices for.

They must be knocking these out for peanuts in the factory - small plastic case - a lens - some minor mass produced electronics ... another modern day supply & demand rip off
