Multiwii 328p faulty?

This is my first multiii,so im a multiwii newb

Ive been trying for the last few days to get this flight controller working:

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=27033

Ive erased the eprom, uploaded multiwii 2.2

Calibrated the acc and mag and gyro

Callibrated the esc';s

I have the motors spinning in the correct directions and setup properly to the board.

In the wingui throttle response and motor reaction seem ok.

What i have noticed is the gyro readings allways stay at 0% no matter what, when picking the frame you and moving it around.

So does this mean the gyro is faulty?

When i try and fly the quad its so erratic ,somtimes its spins on the yaw axis other times it wants to flip,it never gets off the ground

Holding the quad steady in my hand and trying out the various stick inputs,it';s responding as it should.

Im using 12amp afro esc, havent cut the power wires, didnt think i needed to.

Any got any ideas, before i bin this thing.

Well you have shed loads of I2C errors, you should not have any. So that point to something not right on the bus. Have you got the correct board configured in the multi wii config file? could be trying to talk to the wrong sensor? That was my problem when I first started, but then mine would not even arm.

Worth a check over.

Thanks,i was wondering about those i2c errors.

i uploaded the correct wii config file, which i got from the hobbyking site, the settings look correct, ive checked the file over a few times.

I think i';ll unplug everything and start again, including erasing the eprom.

If you ever get to the stage of binning it, send it to me and I';ll have a look, I';ve the kit to check over this stuff at work, might be able to spot something.

Will do.

Ive unplugged everything apart from the usb cable, lots of ic2 errors and the gyro stays at 0%.

The gyro readings are supposed to move around when you tilt the frame right?

Its looking like a hardware fault, cant think of much else to try

atomiclama

HW fault I';d say.

Can you check out the board for dry joints, solder bridges etc?

Returns to supplier?

Looks like your right, the naze 32 worked straight away in the same frame.

I bought it from hobbyking,i know there pretty rubbish at returns,i';ll give it a go though.
