Hi Guys newbie here  :whistling:

I have just purchased a 2nd hand DJI 450 Naza and got a friend to go through some of the setup with me on my Spektrum DX7. I have been flying it all afternoon and its awsome  ::) Just one thing that im puzzled by though, when i flick RTH it does the usual climb and tracks across to where it took off from and lands but if i intercept as it is coming down by flicking the switch back to GPS mode the LED';s change but i cant override the RTH until it lands and i spool it up again. Can anyone tell me if im doing anything wrong please?? Thanks in advance for any help but go easy on me ive got my head into the manual etc as we speak

I think you have to switch to manual to regain control

Was just about to say that too.  Manual or Atti mode should do the trick

Thanks for the replies, any ideas how i can switch to manual or atti? I think its only setup for gps and failsafe on the gear switch and the aux switch.

here are my dx6i settings

gear = reverse

mix 1
gear> gear act
rate d 0% u -104%
Sw mix trim inv

mix 2
gear > gear act
reate d - 49% u - 51%
sw ail D/R Trim Inh

gear travel adjustment up 86% down 76%

basically

gear switches between manual and gps.

switching mix to 1 puts it in alti

switcing ail d/r to 1 puts it in failsafe in even if its in alti gps or manual.

manual is fmode 2 set at dn 86%

I use 3 position switch on my futaba for the AUX channel controlling GPS / ALT HOLD / MANUAL flight modes then seperate switch to introduce some offset and make it go into FAILSAFE RTH.  I have yet to try intercepting / cancelling RTH and regaining control in flight.   Must try it soon, so I know it is possible lol.   RTH is quite stressful to try for fun lol and I think I will only use for emergancy hehe
