So, this is the board that will essentially destroy the market for others: The OpenPilot Revolution.

You can pre-order it in a ';kickstarter'; way, but there is one important thing to note: The software will not be a highly polished as for the CC3D - it will still need some sorting.

However, I think that most hardware is like that, including aiop, megapirates, multiwii - all still being worked on and updated.

I think there are around 80 hours left to be part of it. If you don';t it could be a very long time before you get your hands on this FC.

Not sure I see this board as a game changer the senors its using have been on other boards for a while,
The videos are a bit hyped up the sensor video doesnt show any sensors 
I really hope they deliver this time as last time they sat back while the rest of the world over took them, have you ordered one Ice

Yes - I ordered one as I expect the software to be the part that excels it. I may contribute myself to the code, but I will wait and see.

My expectation is that it will perform better than a wookong/naza when the software is sorted - especially if it is using the CC3D code as a basis. Once you have excellent attitude control, the rest can be built from that.

We shall see!

I hope I am not a fanboi - but once I get them onto some frames to test I will let you know!
The GCS software is very nice I have to say.
However, I do have alot of FC';s so I don';t think I will become a fanboi
It is ridiculous how many flight controllers I have - some I have not even used!

I have also a few sensor  boards in a box somewhere too!

Too many - yes, i think i have a problem - but I have loads of quads etc sitting in my garage and I like to take 4 or 5 out at a time to fly them as they all fly differently based on the frame/motor/setup combinations. Spent thousands on this hobby? Yes, but don';t tell the missus. In fact I could probably open a shop with the number of motors/frames/esc';s i have waiting to be used.

Bloomin hell Ice you got it bad  no one can ever say you haven';t tried a good variety of flight controllers, It makes you very knowledgeable and able to offer other help to others when needed,

Yeah I know, don';t worry about the jokes - i can take ';em!!
As to the FC';s I honestly do prefer, at this time, for gyro/accel modes, the multiwii software based FC';s!
However, this may change as I can build better damped frames.
