I am unable to get PPM working on my quad.

I went and updated the rx firmware successfully.
Amended Config.h & un-commented;

#define SERIAL_SUM_PPM         ROLL,PITCH,THROTTLE,YAW,AUX1,AUX2,AUX3,AUX4,8,9,10,11 //For Robe/Hitec/Futaba
#define PPM_ON_THROTTLE

Put the jumper across the signal of CH3 & CH4
Connected a single wire from the signal at CH1 to the PPM input pin on the AIOP v2 board

Calibrated MAG & ACC via WIN_GUI
Re-loaded parameters

Tried to ARM

Nothing!

RX shows as bound with a green solid light

Looks like yet another learning curve!

Cheers

#define PPM_ON_THROTTLE

Connect your RX to your throttle pin (pin 8)  ;D

If you comment out that define it uses a different pin but NOT the one marked as PPM on the Crius V2 board ... I';ve not worked out how to change the code so it does use that pin so I just went with the easy option and left that define uncommented and used the throttle pin.

That worked Barneyg.  ~~

Sometimes it pays not to read the manual and just go to a guru instead!  :notworthy:

Lol

I did have to choose a different configuration. I had to go for the Graupner, Spektrum PPM configuration in the end for my JR Radio.

Now I just need to get the buzzer to work!
