Got my RCtimer order yesterday and have started to TRY and put together the frame that I got (SM450)  Problem is the holes in the plates don';t match the legs very well 

I get about 2 screws in and the other 2 are off centre..  Bit annoyed at this....

Mine were a little bit off but I managed to get them in with a bit of jiggling 
Fit all the acrews before you tighten any, it makes them bind a bit but they do go in

even if they go in at odd angles ?

Should I use a little glue in the holes to keep the screws in or that not needed

Will take a trip to Maplin as the allen key they sent it shite

ooh dont think mine went in at an angle you should be able to fee lif it wants to go in or not the screws are small so be carefull not to strip one or the socket in the plastic, you could open the holes out slightly if your not confident they will go in,
I didnt use any thread lock on mine as they were pretty tight to get in

mine were out a little and just reamed out the holes a touch with a drill.  Yours are quite a way off!  Oh well just have to drill / file out a couple of holes to suit. :-\ 
Just elongate the hole a bit.  Will be fine :)

I was hoping that someone would say get the drill out as that';s what I was thinking, but wasn';t sure.  I will get some washers too I think just to make sure they don';t end up slipping through.

Before you try drilling the holes out wider make sure you';ve tried loosening all the screws and even turning the part that wont fit around by 90 degrees. Mine wasn';t perfectly aligned but it did go together in the end.

Its all fitted together now.

I played about a bit trying different legs on each corner.  Some where worse that others, but its all done now



hopefully I will get some flight time in this weekend
