Hubsan x4 107C (camera) tx compatible with 107D (fpv)?

Just curious - does anyone know if the standard tx for the canera model will work with the fpv model? I';ve read the 5.8ghz will work just fine with fatsharks, so I';m tempted to get one BNF

16 quid for the basic hubsan h107d transmitter  and you can buy em seperately if the tx you have already doesn';t work with it.

The control protocol appears to be the same across all H107 models. I have just flown the H107D with the standard radio to confirm this.
