Maybe this is one for Gaza,we now have the Naza,Autoquad6 and the APM2.5,is the naza now falling behind, its my 60th shortly so i may have a little cash to get the rc timmers clone what you think Gaza,i love tinkering with these things, dont understand them half the time though, really would love the autoquad 6 also, await your knowledgeable reply, away to buy lettuce for my Rabbit, your's,Marty.

would not say naza is falling behind more others are catching up auto quad is a lil more expensive  and amp2 needs more tweaking than naza would say all have there place depends wot you wona do my naza has a place for fpv But I'm looking at amp2 for my next fc
If you find yourself in danger of being taken seriously, then try to do something which undermines or sabotages that perception in some way.

Naza does it for me, on my decent ammature aerial video fpv rig, and will keep me going for some time to come, I'm sure.    I am also a keen tinkerer, but recently have struggled to find the time boo hoo.  Naza has saved me some serious tinkering time.  Plus it is still an impressive flight controller and the 'return to home' if it goes tits up, is a really nice feature.  Not to mention the awesome altitude hold at mid stick while zooming around or loitering.

However, I think I would also be keen to buy the rc timer apm2, if I did not have a naza already.

ps still a KK lover.  got a couple of originals DiY jobbies and a v2.  Great for fun quad projects

The rctimer APM2.5 is an awesome deal considering the price from diydrones is about £188, I will be getting one when funds allow  ~~

I bang on about this alot and will continue it here as well!

Vibrations are the PITA for all FCs - my APM2 was uncontrollable even though it was mounted on foam and in the case you can buy for it. No amount of PID tinkering was fixing it. I then mounted the case on some ';moon gel'; - this stuff is amazing!

So what is my point? If you use a frame that transmits vibrations, you will have to do a good job of separating the FC from the frame before you can even start playing with the PID settings. Naza is very good at this, as the FC has good damping in the box.

If thinking about a frame to put it on, it is best, IMO, to go for box section alu arms or, follow balders lead and use wood - just check out his gopro images with the gopro mounted directly on the frame - no jello, therefore no vibrations - amazing!

ice.
