Hubsan X4 FPV video files.

I have found that, even though I can show the videos on KMPlayer, if I want to use them to make an editable movie, none of the video converters I have tried will work. They all give messages implying that the AVI files produced by the X4 are errors, and so will not convert them.
Please has anyone any ideas as to how I could convert them so they could be edited in a program such as Roxio or similar?
Many thanks,
Stuart.  :cry

Try using this and save back down as avi file, the problem is that they are missing their index!

i use windows movie maker to edit and convert my videos from 808#16

Darrell - thanks for that. How do I re-save as an indexed AVI file, please?

guest325

Not used it for a while but if memory serves me right you just save it with a different file name.
If that doesn';t work then I';ve found this, not tried it myself but it looks like it should work because it';s specifically designed for that problem.

Hi Darrell,
It reports an error when I try to use DivFix with the files! It seems that whatever I try, there is a problem! Thanks for your help, anyway.
Stuart.

Sorry it didn';t work, I used it when I first had my 808#16 keyfob camera similar things were going on; this is a really good resource for anything video connected:

Friskle

Tried WinAvi to ';re-convert  to an AVI ?

Try Videopad, I have never had file issues with that.

Can you play the file ok from the desktop ?

Avi is only a container for video data, there can be almost anything in there so don';t rely on the file type too much.

Might be worth putting a small file up so a few people have have a bicker with it
