Just out of interest, and as I';m a noob,  how is the modification working with your Naza? And is a 6 channel RX enough channels to operate a gimbal and the Attitude, GPS,  and RTH function switch? Or will I need a few more channels?

Hi

There are not enough channels for a gimbal, but everything else works great.   There is a 8 channel one which I will get when I get myself a gimbal.

very pleased with it all  :)

Done! I now have a working failsafe! :D

Thanks for the tutorial mate, nice and clear, and easy to understand. I did accidently buy the wrong FrSky module, but I did get a cheaper one which will enable me to upgrade a bit sooner ;)

The main thing is that my quad will come back to me if the TX drops out or I go out of range due to a case of spacker thumbs!

Thanks mate,

I bought one of the Frsky modules and RX, for my Turnigy 9x

http://www.giantshark.co.uk/frsky-24ghz-communication-system-module-only-p-406135.html

I have just noticed yours is a DHT mine would appear to be a DJT  :hmm:

Is mine compatible .... whats the difference :help:

Seems it is compatible, just a plug in module.

Now how to get the telemetry on screen  :hmm:

huhuhuhehehe

I just have Frsky module with VBfr8 from hobbyking

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... II_RX.html

I';ve successfully bind, but when do pre check, the maximum distance between the module and the receiver is only 5 meters
whereas in the manual, can reach 30 Meters
what should i do?? :(

I';ve tried the farthest distance, only about 200meter (TX to RX)
distance between my antenna 90 degrees
I did a pre check several times with the same result, less than 5 meters then the signal is lost
