For all you GoPro users out there the GoPro App is now available.  With the WiFi Bac you can now connect your smart phone or tablet to your GoPro and view what the camera sees and also access all the camera features.

My daughter has a Gopro too as she is doing film & Photography.  So I have talked her into buying one   :evil

I want an AV input usb dongle and app so I can use my GalaxyS2 as a DVR when flying fpv.

Imagine my annoyance when I found out that the wifi backpack only supports streaming with the hero2 only! I have FOUR hero1s and none of them will work with the wifi backs!1

In any case, ive seen these things at NAB, they are ok but they are far from latency free, and I wouldnt trust them for FPV flying the range will be pretty shonky.

No you have me worried as I am not sure which my daughter has.  If its not the Hero2 then I guess I will have to have it   

I have seen a quick video and yes there is some latency between the camera and phone and you are also limited by the range of the wifi signal.

I am sure if you flog on a couple of GoPro's you'll have enough for the GoPro2.

got a shipping emailing with tracking and DHL shows nothing.  Just called gopro and they are looking into it

I always had two, then i was offered two barely used for 120 dollars each in LA a few months ago, so I bought them as well. I use them all the time, they are very tough little cameras.

And no, not build the tank transporter yet. Feel bad about it caus a really good friend gave them to me as a sort of joke gift, and I really should build them sometime. hah.
