while waiting for my TBS Discover to arrive i decided to save my crashed quad by cutting down the arms before the bends, shreading as much excess weight as possible. The quad now measures 270 mm motor to motor where it was 500 before.
I've also managed to save 500 grams in weight (now 1.1kg fully loaded.)

The blades in he pics are 10" but i'll be dropping them to 8 and the naza will be comming off and going on the tbs and my kk board will take its place.

Ok now put it in a cotton wool liked box and put it under your bed until 10th of November when our next group flying day is. lol

Does that fly as it looks like the CoG has changed on it now that you have cut the arms down?

my first big quad flew with a 500g battery mounted right over at one side of the chassis lol it was way out of balance but flew fine...

No/ the naza is coming of and wll be replaced with the kk at the cog. its not finished yet
