Im not sure I agree if you loose one esc you probably loose them all 
you may also be inclined to fit it central on the copter right where the compass is

Yea it does it looks great  I'm just saying it could cause problems from a compass point of view

I wonder if it's possible to flash these with the improved simonK Multicopter firmware. If it isn't i wouldn't buy one, simply because the SimonK firmware made such a positive difference to the way my quadcopter flies.

I'm flying using multiwii though - it's possible other flight controllers wouldn't feel the difference so much in which case this device might be of some help.

I agree with Gaza though - if one fails you can't do much except rebuild as a tricopter.

Well, I have bought 2 off ebay for £24.99 just to see what they are like. I think they can tidy up a build!

I am not too bothered about flashing them as tbh, they actually perform a 'filtering' job if the frame has vibrations due to the decreased response time.

yeah looks good.  Be good to know how long the motor wires are.

As for 'your stuffed' if one esc goes down....well I have only had one esc die on me no sooner than 1 year of hard flying and I replaced all of them on this particular quad, for peace of mind.  I suppose there might be the odd one that goes dead after a few flights on some and if thats the case, send it back for another.  I would.

my esc is just under my control board anyways, not seem to have any effect on my compass... then if you loose one esc you canot fly back anyways .... lol on a octo it's possible... probably :P
