I do feel like we are heading for a total ban from a hobby point of view here in the uk at some point :(

Good old daily mail.  Surprised they didn't say drones are mostly flown by immigrants, taking all our jobs.  Scare mongery as usual "sky littered with cameras" hahaha...have they not walked through any high st lately and seen the number of CCTV cameras on poles?

Still, if I'm ever out of work, I can join one of these civil rights groups and have less to worry about :)

I cannot see them banning the hobby as they would  have to ban plans and heli's too.

I bet there are not many people that have looked up and seen a drone 500feet above them spying down...   :o

I doubt we will see a ban on our hobby,as some of the comments above have made clear..there are still helicopters and planes that get flown by hobbyists all over the uk..
However i do get fed up with seeing more and more video's of people flying fpv in parks where there are lots and lots of people..That will not help our cause one bit if one of these quads/hexa's or what ever throws a prop or like we have all seen on youtube just fall out of the sky for what ever reason and hits a member of the public then what? More bad press and then the regulations will start coming in thick and fast..
