Well, many hours have gone by while trying to decode the chinglish manual and understand the steps to take especially for CF and calibration. One note is that one ofthe ESC's is getting hot so i will replace it and see if that has any effect. Here is my configuration:
Frame: IFLY 4 Quad-X 455 mm
FC: Rabbit with FW 1.220, CF module, Ultrasonic module, GPS module
Power source: Turnigy 4000 mah 3s Lipo cell
Radio TX: Turnigy 2.4 GHz, 9 Ch
Radio RX: Turnigy 2.4 GHz 9X 8C V2

I have also attached my configuration settings to this post.
basically, the quad is unstable and wants to go all sorts of ways. It is not consistant so ANY help would be appreciated.

Thanks

johnrs

Hi

What do you have your 9x set up as.  Heli or Acro/plane ?

I have a 9x and for 2 weeks I could not get my quad with a KK board off the ground.  Wanted to do everything but fly up and I went thought countless props too.

Very good point John you should have your tx set to acro as the some of the heli settings have ccpm mixing and will make your quad handle very strange,
I beleive heli1 will work though  ~~

All my problems where because mine was in Heli1.  As soon as it was in acro mode it was fine, but because of motor problems it was not stable but did fly

Oh I see I thought heli1 worked for you but not the other heli modes  :shrug:
so it has to be acro then  ~~ I only ever use acro  ~~

Nope.  Acro mode worked best for me.  But for my Naza Heli 1 worked only because I needed a 3 pos switch

I'll just bung this link in to help as well;

Wild rabbit

As far as i can tell it looks like you have the motor order right;

One circlip short of a quadcopter.
 1 lobe short of an antenna.

After you check again your diagram of motors and props as Gary say  make again level calibration.
