Tbh I've been really busy, not had much time to fly anything and with conditions being crap, hopefully in the new year I'll have some new projects on the go, mostly to do with HAM radio, will certainly fly again soon. FTR I hate FB too   :D Merry Christmas

Thanks for the wire Homer!

they look too big for 5.8GHz, so i assume they are for a 2.4GHz setup?
They look pretty well made!

Looks like a nice job Chipko but looking at the pic, did you take the pic while driving on the motorway

Iced - yeah, it's not for 5.8 - those look cute and small .. this is for a much lower frequency I think I will end up getting a FatShark system soon.

Gary - I was .. but I was stopped .. it's always around Nottingham!  I didn't check the photo before I uploaded it and it looks like I didn't choose one in focus :P

I liked the fact there was a substation on a truck, with a power line in the background

looking good chip nice job how do they work much better than the rubber duckies ?
If you find yourself in danger of being taken seriously, then try to do something which undermines or sabotages that perception in some way.

Grr ... I'd typed up a long reply on my phone and it was lost!

I've only tried the receiver planar antenna as inever had a rubber ducky for that. I have made a cloverleaf but not tried it yet.

Add for the comments where it looks good. That's the soft focus effect!

Let me add a better picture!
