After sitting for a while I have finally got around to loading Mp2.9.1add-ons on my crius v1 along with Peter Kings parameters.
I gave up on my PC bluetooth link last night which refuses to connect even though my Note2 10.1 works perfectly. So I have decided to use droid planner and I have invested in a 3dr radio along with a USB otg connector.
Autonomous flight here I come.

Until it turns up try unplugging the Crius BT until the mavlink message comes up, that';s what I had to do.

That said I got 3DR set in the end as it was a bit hit and miss with PC AND phone!

It';s not the crius that has the issue it';s windows not allocating a com port to the bluetooth dongle. It';s probably the shitty bluetooth dongle I bought from ebay. After all not all bluetooth dongles are created equal

I had a similar issue with native bluetooth in a Dell D630 laptop.  Windows was allocating the COMx port but there was no serial communications across the pairing.  Like others, I gave up and bought a 433MHz 3DR telemetry clone and haven';t looked back.  ~~
