the ARTH on the naza is great, you got no worries at all. I use it quite a bit just for routine landings, i like watching it fly itself, i recon between my two, ive landed with RTH more times than manual landing.

Balders

mine lands itself smoother than I bloody fly...gah!

Batteries are so cheap these days, it makes sense to have a few. I think I have 8 x 2200mah's and a 3000 3S for when I want to stay up longer (ie filming something).

I'm now ready to try my return to home. Is there anyway of testing out this feature with the blades off or is it a case of get it in the air flick the switch and hope?  :wack0

You got nothing to worry about, just make sure you turn the thing on with it sitting on the ground in home position.

Fly it away and flick the switch and watch with horror.

Pete.

Do i have to be in gps mode when i flick my switch to failsafe or can i been in alti or manual?

Gav

lol well apparently you can abort  or reset failsafe rth and regain control by switching off your rth activation switch and then toggling between alt and gps flight mode.  I've yet to try this.  Have you got a long piece of string ? :)

usnooz

Maybe hook up the fishing rod so i can reel it back in

thats not a bad idea but it would look a bit weird.  make sure to get someone to video it.

sausageroll

No offence intended, but personally, I think using a fishing rod to reel the quad back in is a stupid idea
