Hi guys,
I';m pretty sure this has been seen before, but it';s new to me.
Just rebuilt the DJI clone hex with new frame top and bottom deck. Reconfigured it to X instead of +. After following the excellent guides by Jumpy :notworthy: and Gaza  :notworthy: I finally had it hovering fairly well indoors. It was a bit twitchy and over-responsive for me, so into the PIDs I dived. I made some changes based on the advice from the top blokes. OK I must have done something stoooopid, ';cos now the level is 22 deg out, and the hex wanted to roll severely to the right. I know there is an issue with the level calibrate button in Mission planner, so I went through the back door via terminal/setup/level. I have also reset the fc board (as far as I know - reset button on the PCB?), followed by deleting and reinstalling crius/arduine/megapirate completely. The final chapter tonight is that the only way I can fly it is to go through the terminal/setup/level routine with the hex held at a 22 deg roll to the left. Mission planner then shows the hex having a 22 deg right roll when sitting on the floor. It ain';t right, and I';m a bit lost :banghead: :banghead: :help:.......... anyone have a clue? :crossfingers:
PS the compass is about 30 deg out, too.
Taranis, Dx8, Boscam DJI 550Hex clone, 2X KK2.0 Tri's, 2X 450 Align clones, Blade Nano, Scale 450 Hughes 500, MX2, SE5a, Mini Racer (Slope), and a shed full of other stuff in progress. No time to play enough !
