What a day :(

Well bought myself a Hubsan x4 today, drove from Blackpool to Preston to buy it came home and decided to go to my brothers to show him.

Opened the box and my brother was flying it around for the whole 30 seconds and decides he wants one lol so back in the car, drove back to Preston to get his drove back to his house.

We both were flying the around and all of a sudden crash the thing fall to the floor and bust one of the motors.

So I was pretty peeved of and decided to have a sulk so with 25 mins before the shop shuts we decide to take my 3rd trip back to Preston to buy some new motors which after driving 100mph down the motorway we arrived with 1 Min spare.

Finally I took it apart and soldered the new motor in I';m finally back up and running.

I do suggest you get a Crash Kit - and Propeller Guard will keep you in the air almost indefinitely  ::) http://www.wirelessmadness.com/hubsan-x4-mini-quad-copter-propeller-protection-guard-cover-h107-a12  Prop strikes and loss/breaks are a thing of the past.  Oh, and the straw mod isn';t needed either!

I was going to get the propeller guard but they are waiting to for them to arrive.

sorry to sound like a nube but... Whats the straw mod?
was thinking of getting one of these for the mrs as a bit of fun so she could see why i';m hooked on my quad.
