HK Multiwii pro (Crius V1 clone) EEPROM issues

Hi,

I have a HK Multiwii Pro which is a Crius V1 clone running megapirate 2.7R4.
It uploaded and runs ok, connects to mission planner, however its not saving my settings, even after doing an erase EEPROM command and also doing it in Arduino, it still doesn';t hold my settings.

Every time I remove power from the board and plug it back in it goes into a reset state where the A/B lights flash, then it boots.

In mission planner under CLI, I connect, it goes through the motions of connecting, connects then it says I';ve changed the firmware.... erasing EEPROM

It does this every time I apply power, loosing all my settings and making the speed controllers freak out.

anyone else had this issue?
Is my board now a paperweight?

Many thanks

:)
Why use 4 motors when you can use 6?

Thanks for your suggestion,

its now started working again properly, however I';ve stumbled into a new problem with the megapirates firmware, it won';t arm, even after doing radio calibration, so I';ve gone back to the multiwii firmware which does arm, its also holding my settings okay.

Ive read you need to hold the throttle down and to the left to disarm and hold throttle down and to the right to arm but if its not arming try give your throttle a couple of clicks off down throttle trim as if the throttle is not at 0 it wont arm
