Noticed these nice looking skid protectors from a guy in the UK. Maybe worth a purchase..

use some epe foam,wrap it around the skids and heatshrink to secure..
much cheaper....epe is that thin packing foam you find in the odd parcel..

Use pipe insulation and zip ties .. cheap as chips
