Cheapo DIY lights

Not strictly ';electronics';, but came across these little lights whilst doing the weekly today in Lidl';s Edit: sorry! Aldi';s.  I decided to take them out of their cases to save on weight (they';re meant for pushbikes of course..), but obviously on a heavy lift you needn';t bother (though it is no ';bother'; actually!).
Oh yes, they were £2.99 for the two and take two 20mm dia batteries (in each unit).

That';s 8.2 gms by the way, not 82!!

They have three ';modes'; fast flash, slow flash and constant, and seem very bright.  I only ever used lights once before, and they were ok, but maybe drained the battery too much for my liking, but these are useful, perhaps in the event of a fly-away in a crop field or like, after dark they';ll stand out like a nun in a bookies.
I just needed to stick the on/off switches back on with a little CA.  Better get another set for my hex build whilst they still have a few.  ;)

NIce!  Just off to test....Woohoohoo..night flying here we come!  ~~

Update: I had an idea!  I managed to solder two servo wires to the on/off circuit, which i';ll hook up to a little Turnigy rc switch, flipping the gear switch should cycle thru'; the 3 modes, neat!
