I have a DJI naza M and plan to try and get out on Sunday -  ~~

I have a couple of turnigy 2200 3S lipo';s, last time I flew I found the spider would not climb because the lipo capacity was too low, i';m looking for basic settings so I can run off a couple of lipo packs (no six pack available ;-)  )

Appreciate the help, i';m trying to get motivated to fly, keep spending the budget on other projects  :wack0

i turned the voltage monitor off.

I made a simple Y connector to join two LiPos it worked perfectly, the advice I was given was. Measure each cell to ensure they are very close to equal charge, measure both batteries to ensure near enough same voltage ( if the cells were the same then the voltage would be the same    ) join them on the Y connector then connect to the Quad. It works very well but you have to be on top of the voltages before you connect them just in case you connect a charged one to a flat one.

Disable the naza power monitor and buy a lipo buzzer which connects to the balance lead of any lipo battery.

+1 on not using the naza power monitor.

It';s not that reliable and changes depending on the temp too, so it could just start to slowly land when you think you got more time.

A lipo alarm that';s already been suggested is much better, and a timer on your TX

I bought a few of the small battery alarms, and I do use one on the quad for flying so i';ll disable the naza monitor then.

I have NO idea how long the battery time will be, so i';ll time from start to when the alarm triggers and then check the battery cell levels.

I found the Naza habit of landing when it detected low voltage without any ability to control it was very dodgy and caused me a couple of butt clenching events! As I was told, better to risk £20 of lipo by running it a bit close to minimum but keep control of a £1000 multi! Don';t ignore the buzzer though!

Didn';t get out on Sunday, but did take the time to update the naza and software, and switch off the battery monitor.

I thought I read somewhere on here that there were waypoints now added to the Naza M firmware  :huh

Correction. You need the Apple groundstation app and the 2.4 datalink to get this to work. I misread things as well!!

I was fooled by that, but I think you need one of these: http://www.dji.com/dji-released-2-4g-bluetooth-datalink-ipad-ground-station/
Correct! now I read it properly.  I updated my earlier post! Confusing.  :frantic:

The parameter adjustment in flight will be good (when Android version arrives) so you can see immediate effect!

Ho hum, finally got my mini iOSD to install...

Thanks for the info, makes sense now - spend more money

Yeah, the voltage monitor is crap!  Don';t know what i';d do without an osd these days.  I did use the tm1000 telem. Module, which was useful, but not a lot of use with fpv goggles.  :-/

At least with the telemetry module, even if you can';t see the display the Tx warns you with buzzer and vibrate.  Makes me jump every time it goes off!!!
