After messing about with the Gimbal on the Hex and not getting anywhere (design issues on gimbal), i decided to go looking for a 3 Axis.. initially I fancied a Zenmuse for the Nex.. but was out of my price range..  I then came across one of these..

[attachimg=1]

It kinda looks like a poor mans Zenmuse..

Rctimer 5010 motors
Sliprings on all the motors for cables..
Its made of ali and carbon.. but mostly ali.. weighs in at 760g   (Zenmuse is 1.3kg)
Came with genuine Alex Mos bascam board..including third axis controller

Its actually well made..   only things I dont like ..  cables very short and not fully run.. you have to do this yourself..  and no mounting for controller board..

It wont do 360 on pitch or roll axis like Zenmuse.. but then again who needs to..

it is very well balanced.. which impressed me..  and the pivot points have proper bearings .. ie: they dont hang on the motor bearings..

I ordered a  new smaller HDMI converted and IR trigger..   have started sorted the wiring out.. will have control for shutter, and pitch.. the rest will be on auto

Its a lot shorter in height than my old gimbal.. so have mounted it as far forward as possible.. but might need some spacers to drop it down if prop is in view..

Have to print a box off for mounting controller yet.. .. spent most of the afternoon soldering all the wires and not finished yet.. but here is a dummy fitment up to the Hex..
