APM 2.5 - Follow me

hey guys

is anyone working with this mode from a smartphone successfully ?

this mode is initiated from a smartphone through telemetry radio with android app like droidplanner or andro pilot

when i choose follow me mode from the app it goes into guided mode and starts following me, but i cant snap it out of this mode from the TX, only from the app and it takes few seconds in which i have no control over the quad, its quite scary

so if anyone is working with this thing, i would love to know how ....

I';ve not tried this - I guess the issue is that the tablet keeps sending the updated waypoint which puts the copter back into ';GUIDED'; mode even if you';re toggling the mode on the TX. A log would probably show it flipping perhaps?
