How to get stability

Hi

Thanks for your reply.  TX is now in plane mode and seems to be throttling much smother and I don't suddenly get that surge.  However is still wants to flip over which I have been told to reverse the gyro, but before I could do this I broke another prop 

Going to take a quick wonder down to B&Q today to see if I can make some sort frame to stick out a little to protect the props if/when it flips while I learn to fly.
