Gaza - can you make the subject line section in the forum topic list wider? It's cutting off the subject field really short.

Anyone else see the multi on Gadgetman last night right at the end?

Jake Bullit

Yeah, first time I';ve seen that show.
Found it quite annoying, though I liked The I. T. Crowd.

No gadget show is complete without a multirotor appearance. Looked like like an S800.

It was the first time i watched this show to and I quite enjoyed it  ~~ does anyone know where to get some grass flip flops   :beer2:

Anyone see the Octo on The One Show last night?

It was flying over a maize maze.

Yup, seen that. It sparked off a conversation with my teen daughter about the possible future uses for multirotors. We came to the conclusion that the future is bright for them. I can see lots of uses in mountain rescue and disaster areas. My daughter likes the idea that we seen of a wide area wifi network beamed by quads in areas that have temporary comms issues. I believe there was a news story of a very similar thing happeing somewhere in the world. Its nice to think, that we are all here at the very beginning of something that I see becoming more and more important.

One circlip short of a quadcopter.
1 lobe short of an antenna.
