APM 2.5 Simple mode causing problems

Quad flies well in stabilize mode but does not like it simple mode. Any ideas

Can you describe what is happening exactly when in Simple mode?

I used it for the second time yesterday, it worked rather well for me.  But I believe that there are a couple of ways in which it can work. So it would help to know what your experience has been.

From what I';ve heard, You check your compass calibration by trying Simple mode. If it doesn';t work then you need to recalibrate your compass.

I agree with jerry ,re -do your compass .

but a good idea before you fly in simple would be to test in loiter and RTL .
This will give a good indication of your set up is good to go.
