A tri copter, a Vulcan and a crash!

I put this in general as it';s not strictly about a multi rotor...

Anyway, while throwing my hack about after a week or so without flying I got very distracted (but in a good way) and as you will see, just had to drop the model as I really lost all focus

Shows just how wide the FoV is on the GoPro as it is a few seconds after XH558 appears on the video to me seeing it.

Its a pretty good argument for having go pro as fpv cam. Got the cable but still not given it a go...

The Vulcan is an awesome aircraft, well before it';s time and not repeated by any other nation.  As Toad of Toad Hall once said ... "Toot, toot ..." 

It is times like that when RTL or Loiter becomes kind of vital.

Lucky you getting to see her in motion. I';m addicted to the "blue note" and the Vulcan gives the sweetest I';ve ever heard. We got the airshow next week and she';s not scheduled this year and I missed her when she did fly at last year';s - boohoo.

Hope the tri';s not too put-out.... I think I would have done the same (or hit RTL).

It';s a lovely aircraft and I have been lucky to see it flypast on a few occasions.

The tri survived with just a little mud in the ally tubing on the tail, I just reattached the battery and flew off again. Sadly no RTL or anything fancy as it';s just a KK 2.0 board.

XH558 is awesome, shear poetry in the skies - probably the most iconic aircraft ever made. That sweet spot noise is lovely, but my favourite is the Saab Vigen when the afterburners kick in during take off - nearly as nice as the sound a 427 Corvette with lake pipes on makes!
