PID in MP 3.0?

Could someone point me to a a tutorial on setting the PID';s with mp 3.0. the other great tutorials talk about adjusting pids that aren';t there in the new mp. this is challenging enough for me as a nube without a bunch of instructions that no longer apply. :-/

rickp

Basically, tune RATE_P and that should be good enough to fly and look at the IMU vibration logs...

I read that v3 code is more sensitive than the v2. I';m setting up an APM 2.5 and have the Rate Roll P and Rate Pitch P wayyyy down from default to get it flying stable. I';d suggest taking the default value and reducing it by 25% in steps until you get stability.  Then do as rickp suggests.

so what is the PID row across the top, all set to 0.9500. do i just ignore this? also, somewhere i read that to enable the log for vibration i have to enable something, but not raw. i don';t remember but i think it only applies for 2.9

log
enable imu

You need to set up the Rate Ps first - not quite figured out the top row yet - but they';re not as significant as the Rate P settings.

Jumpy07 has a thread started here --> http://www.multi-rotor.co.uk/index.php?topic=1385.0  It is well worth working your way through that in sequence.
